Sow N Go’s inaugural Panda Festival field trip was nothing short of legendary. This was our first taste of one of the largest Asian food festivals in the U.S., and the very first time it landed in Georgia. With our 15 early-bird tickets snapped up by eager families (and the festival itself sold out over a month in advance with over 50,000 people on the waiting list!), we knew we were in for a treat.
Juicy Boba Kick-Off
We gathered bright and early at Juicy Boba—who kindly opened hours ahead just for us—and passed out our exclusive Sow N Go Adventure Books and Memory-Keeping folders. These booklets included a detailed vendor map, performance schedule, activity challenges, and entries for our very own scavenger hunt. With boba vouchers in hand, everyone grabbed their drinks and dove straight into PandaPanda Go trivia. Our trivia champion won by a landslide, her knowledge was unbeatable, while a tie for runner-up led to a fiercely entertaining “Catch That Dumpling” face-off (aka jumbo marshmallows), where champions were decided in a single thrilling round.
No-Wait Entry
Thanks to some quick coordination, I was already on-site when our van rolled up. With no directional signs in sight, an Atlanta Police officer guided our chaperones and children to the stroller-friendly entrance I’d secured. No lines, no waiting, just straight into festival bliss.

A Feast for the Senses
Inside, we plunged into an Asian culinary haven. Highlights included:
Saucy Bao Dumplings—giant, juicy, and absolutely divine, the trip favorite
Tanghulu—bright, crunchy candied fruits on a stick
Yam Ice Cream—a bold hit for some and a playful miss for others (texture is an acquired taste!)
Fresh Cane Sugar Lemonade—the perfect antidote to a sunny afternoon
Plus skewers, ramen bowls, grilled squid, fluffy panda-shaped cotton candy, and more
Every bite was a new adventure, and our exclusive Sow N Go add-ons only amplified the fun—parents and children alike, were more than satisfied with how seamless and special everything felt.

Cultural Highlights & Prize Winning Challenges
Armed with our Adventure Books, we conquered every PandaPanda Go challenge: hunting down panda themed decor pieces, snapping photos of the dragon dance, trying something difference & new, and even grooving along with the live DJ. Each completed activity earned entries in our field-trip prize drawings, adding an extra layer of excitement to our exploration.
Sweet Send-Off
As the sun dipped and our energy waned, we regrouped at the van, arms full of keepsakes and giggles. On the ride home, we replayed favorite moments—like cheering on the dragon dancers, devouring those massive bao dumplings, and laughing over the mixed reactions to that yam ice cream.
It wasn't the extra tidbits but each of you that created the secret sauce, that made the day grand!
Thank You!
A huge shout-out to the Atlanta Police officer who helped our families find their way, and to all the parents and children whose enthusiasm turned this outing into an unforgettable memory. And of course, to everyone at Panda Festival for bringing such a vibrant event to Georgia.
This trip showed that with a little Sow N Go added intention, ordinary outings become extraordinary adventures. Here’s to many more field-trip firsts—because life’s best stories start with curiosity, community, and a big appetite for fun!
