Sow N Go took Southern Belle Farm by storm and had an unforgettable day of fun, adventure.
We kicked things off in the corn pit, which is basically a giant ball pit—but instead of balls, it’s filled with kernels of corn. Naturally, the kids wasted no time submerging themselves, scooping up handfuls to make towers, jumping in, and—let’s be honest—occasionally throwing some at their friends (even though that was technically not allowed… shh, we won’t tell).
After successfully extracting our kids from their corn-covered hiding spots, we bounced over to the giant bounce, getting out all our energy before heading to what would become the most beloved activity of the day—the giant potato sack slide. It didn’t matter if you were 5 or 15 (or an adult reliving your childhood), this slide was THE moment of the day. Our teens in particular were obsessed, climbing up again and again for one last ride—even as we kept reminding them it was time to head to the magic show!

Finally, we managed to pry ourselves away from the slide and made our way to the hayride, where we got a front-row view of the farm’s beauty—sunflower fields, apple orchards, pear trees, and an endless sea of pumpkins just waiting for fall festivities. We didn’t stop at a pumpkin patch, but getting to see those bright orange beauties from the comfort of our hay-stuffed seats was still worth it.
Then it was off to the magic show, where we watched in awe as tricks unfolded before our eyes. But as soon as the final illusion was performed, we were back at it—this time racing to the pig races, where we cheered, laughed, and rooted for our favorite little piggies as they dashed to the finish line.
At this point, we were well into the day, but our adventures were far from over. We dove headfirst into the corn maze, confidently choosing the long version—because, of course, we were experts at this. Fast forward a few minutes, and we realized… we were not experts. We got turned around more than once, second-guessed every decision, and eventually decided that instead of playing by the maze’s rules, we’d carve our own path out. So, no the maze didn’t conquer us, we just made a more daring escape.

After finally making it out (alive and victorious…of course), we rewarded ourselves with a well-earned meal and ice cream, a perfect pick-me-up after our, um… unconventional maze navigation. Then, fueled by sugar and renewed energy, we jumped onto the barrel ride, where we whirled, bumped, and laughed our way through another farm-favorite activity.
No farm trip would be complete without some quality time with the animals, so we wrapped up our adventure by petting and feeding the farm’s furry and feathered residents, making memories along the way. And of course, before heading out, we made a final stop at the gift shop to pick up some farm-fresh goodies—and our well-earned take-home pumpkins as a souvenir of the day’s adventure.
A huge shout-out to Mrs. Wright for pulling all of this together and making sure our homeschool families had an amazing experience. We had such a blast that we were literally some of the last people out the door—because when you’re having this much fun, who wants to leave?
And to all the parents and kids who joined us—thank you! Your energy, laughter, and enthusiasm made this trip extra special. From the corn pit to the hayride, the slide to the pig races, the maze to the ice cream, this was one for the books. Until next time—stay adventurous, stay silly, and always take the long way out (even if it means making your own exit)!
